Civil War Era Remington Model 1861 Army Revolver.
.44 caliber, 8 inch octagonal barrel. The action functions well. It has visible sub-inspector’s marks. The gun is mostly plummed out with some traces of blue and some added finish. There is a weld repair on the frame top strap - please refer to pictures for details.
The bore has strong rifling with quite visible lands and grooves and very light corrosion in the full length barrel.
