Very Fine Civil War Era Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With 6 Inch Barrel

6 inch octagonal barrel. .31 caliber six shot. Single line New York barrel address. Barrel retains 50% bright blue mixing with brown, 90% brilliant original blue under ramrod as one finds with percussion Colts in fine or better condition. Cylinder with excellent scene a gentle blue brown, 4 safety pins intact. Frame with faded casehardening and one area of vibrant color on right side. Hammer with good traces of case color. Trigger with some blue. Backstrap and triggerguard retain 95% silver. Figured walnut grip retains 90%+ original varnish with only a few very minor marks. Rammer with gray casehardened patina. Bore is good and action is crisp. All numbers match including wedge. All screws retain some original blue finish and none are scarred by the screwdriver.
