Civil War era Bacon Second Model Pocket Revolver.
Fluted 5-shot .31 caliber cylinder, 4" round barrel, approximately 3,000 made.
A nice honest Bacon showing gray/brown patina and original blue on cylinder. The original wood grips show normal use and still have varnish. The action works properly and the bore is good. All numbers match including the wedge.
The Bacon barrel address is clear. A fine piece for the collector of percussion revolvers.
