A Lovely Gold Damascened Middle Eastern Kard Dagger Circa 1850 With Wootz Damascus Blade Forged In One Piece And Morse Ivory Scales.
8 and 1/2 inch blade with strong spine designed to pierce chain mail. The blade with beautiful Damascus pattern and finely executed gold Damascene decoration of floral design at forte. The gold decoration continues on the bolster and throughout the entire length of the grip all in crisp condition with little wear.
The grip scales in two sections held by pins and showing attractive aging. 13 inches overall. This is an absolutely genuine period classic Islamic dagger in good condition.
